Q:
To move or not to move, is that the question?
A:
Sometimes it is.
Challenge:
ASA needed to expand. Management thought its only option was to renovate the older building that it owned, while it continued to operate out of it. Was this painful and generally costly approach the best way to go?
Strategy:
Through extensive space planning and renovation cost assessments, we demonstrated that it was more cost effective and better for long term growth to relocate to a new facility. We built a transition strategy that assessed the best options for relocation and defined their space needs. We designed efficient, scaleable workspace, and built a cost effective move strategy to minimize the impact on ASA’s clients.
Results:
We helped ASA find its new 138,000 sq. ft. facility and helped them to vacate the old building on schedule. We built ergonomically designed workstations and tested them for efficiency. Our move strategy kept ASA operating through the move process and turned this transition into its opportunity to improve its services and secure its future.
