Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE), www.cweboston.org is an organization whose mission is to empower women to become economically self-sufficient and prosperous through entrepreneurship. Since its founding, CWE has assisted 10,000 women to start and grow their businesses, through various programs, including one-on-one consulting and seminars. Fox is a founding member of the CWE Entrepreneurship Fund, providing financial support to clients in need. CWE is also the Boston-area certifying agency for Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
Corporate Real Estate Network (CoreNet), www.corenetglobal.org serves to advance knowledge of its members, connect real estate professional with one another and promote excellence. Programs, such as The CoreNet Global Summit and Executive Development Seminar Series, are designed to meet the business needs of companies and the career needs of individual members.
International Facility Management Association (IFMA), www.ifma.org is the largest and most widely recognized professional association for facilities management professionals, supporting approximately 17,300 members. Globally, IFMA conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management degree and certificate programs, and produces World Workplace, the largest facility management conference and exposition.
Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), www.crew.org has a mission of bringing together women professionally engaged in the commercial real estate business and related service industries in order to promote the advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry. This organization facilitates the exchange of information and ideas, provides a forum for the discussion of issues relating to the industry, and offers educational programs that foster the development of women in the commercial real estate industry. In addition, CREW encourages its members to be actively involved in their respective communities.
The Commonwealth Institute, www.commonwealthinstitute.org is a dynamic organization that helps women entrepreneurs, CEO’s and senior corporate executives grow their businesses. The cornerstone of its approach is peer mentoring, one of the most effective modes of learning. Fox has been a supporting member since December 1999, and our President Gretchen Fox has been named a member of the Corporate Board for 2005. In 2002, 2003, 2004, The Commonwealth Institute, in collaboration with Babson College, named Fox RPM Corp. one of Massachusetts’ Top 100 Women-Led Companies.
International Interior Design Association (IIDA), www.iida.org works to advance the value of the interior design profession and to support its practitioners as they acquire knowledge and cultivate leadership. IIDA provides superior information about interior design and related issues through its up-to-the-minute knowledge center. Designers must pass the NCIDQ exam to qualify for professional membership.
Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC),
www.wbenc.org was created in early 1997 to meet the need for a national standard of certification for women's business enterprises. Endorsed by its corporate partners who understand that sector's needs, the WBENC certification program is provided through a network of established women's business organizations across the country. Fox was initially certified by WBENC in 2000, and, in 2003, Gretchen Fox was named a WBENC Business Star, an honor bestowed at a national gala in Washington, DC.
Fox RPM Corp. is certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance, SOMWBA, as a Women Business Enterprise, WBE, and certified nationally by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, WBENC.
